Holding a PhD from Stanford University (USA), he has worked in Europe, India and the USA in various executive positions including R&D, sales, marketing and global business management.

Chief Financial Officer
Christian Thiry joined Novasep in September 2013 as CFO and member of the executive committee.
Christian holds a MBA from ESSEC (Paris, France). Christian has worked 8 years for Ernst & Young and 20 years in several large industrial companies as CFO. The last 12 years, he supervised the growth of a public biopharmaceutical company listed on the SBF 120.
Christian’s objective is to drive Novasep toward a better profitability, financial strength and tighten relationships with the financial sector.
Thierry van Nieuwenhove
President of the Synthesis Business Unit
Thierry holds a master in bio-engineering from the Université Catholique de Louvain (Belgium). He joined Novasep in January 2014 as Head of Synthesis BU.
Previously, Thierry held several executive roles in business development, strategic projects and general management in contract manufacturing organizations.
His mission is to strengthen Novasep’s ranking as a leading contract manufacturing services provider for pharmaceutical and fine chemicals industries.
President of the Industrial Biotech Business Unit
An engineer from Ecole Centrale Paris (France), Nadège joined Novasep in 2004 and became president of the Industrial Biotech BU in 2013.
Before her current position, Nadège Laborde had an extensive operational and multi-cultural experience
Her mission is to expand the service offering and to continue the growth of Novasep in the Food, Functional Ingredients and Fermentation products and Chemical commodities markets, including bio-based chemicals market.
President of the Biopharma Business Unit
Previously, Alain Lamproye endorsed responsibilities as downstream group manager, site director and director of microbial technologies in one of the top 5 biopharmaceutical companies worldwide.
His mission is to drive Novasep’s growth on the Biopharmaceutical CMO market and purification equipment to turn the Group’s competitiveness into leadership in its several expertise areas.
Chief Innovation Officer
He has held various positions within the group, including R&D, engineering, sales management, general management of business unit and marketing.
Jean’s core mission is to strenghten innovation within the company to generate tomorrow’s growth for the Group. He also oversees corporate marketing and communication.
Senior VP Quality
He previously worked as production manager, quality manager and quality director for leading pharmaceutical companies.
Jean-Claude is committed to maintain the compliance of Novasep’s sites with the highest international standards of Quality and is also responsible for steering continuous improvement within the Group.
Chief Legal Officer
He previously held top positions in the pharmaceutical industry, in particular as Vice President Legal – R&D and Technical Operations for a leading French biopharmaceutical group and, most recently, at a corporate law firm focusing on the life sciences sector.
Pierre-Louis’s mission is to manage Novasep’s legal risks and foster a shared culture of enterprise risk management bringing value to the Group and its stakeholders.
Human Resources Director
Bertrand holds a degree from the INSEEC Business School in Paris, having specialized in Human Resources Management. He joined Novasep in September 2012 and became Human Resources Director, Group, in May 2015.
Before his current position, Bertrand brought with him to Novasep a solid experience in Human Resources Management. Within Novasep, he previously held the role of HR Director for the Synthesis Business Unit, before additionally taking on HR responsibilities for the Corporate Team.
Bertrand’s core mission is to fully secure the positioning of HR functions at the heart of the Group’s strategic redeployment. His goal is also to make HR management into a differentiating quality for Novasep, allowing the Group to develop talents as well as attract new ones.
